Overview
Recipients of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships are named "Jockey Club Scholars", or simply "JC Scholars". JC Scholars not only excel academically and professionally but also demonstrate a strong commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. Aspiring to be keen change-makers, JC Scholars actively engage with local and international leaders and participate in diverse community and volunteering services. Drawing inspiration from these interactions, they equip themselves to become caring leaders for a better Hong Kong.
Induction Programme
All newly awarded JC Scholars will participate in the Induction Programme, designed to enhance self-awareness and familiarise them with The Hong Kong Jockey Club's operations and charity work. The Induction Programme includes a welcome day and an induction camp, which provides valuable opportunities for connection and personal growth. Through this programme, JC Scholars will engage with their community, serve others, and live the true spirit of a JC Scholar. JC Scholars may also have opportunities to visit Jockey Club facilities and participate in social service activities.
